You weren't stopped on the roadway across the dam to take these were you? You were taking photos from one side of the dam? From the one photo, I think that I can tell which side of the dam that at least some of the images were taken.

Yes, so far I am impressed with it's tracking performance with both TC ( 1.4X and 2X). I still use D500/D850 with 600 E FL, tracking performance of Sony 400mm GM + A9 is equal or may be little better that Nikon, will find out more after some use . I normally keep Nikon 600 on Gimbal and 400M handheld. So far been happy with it.
