Thanks for all the testing you did with the nikon z 7. I think this camera is an even better option for m mount lenses than the leica sl is. Though i think it is a bit overpriced for what it offers. I am thinking of getting a nikon z 6 instead. Does anybody of you know how the added anti aleasing filter in the nikon z 6 adds size to the filter stack ? is it still 1,1 mm in the Nikon z 6 ?
I think the Nikon D800E had a clear glass that instead of the AA filter of the D800 but I have no idea about the Z6, maybe we'll have to wait until the folks at Kolari or LensRental decides to do a teardown of the Z6

Corner
Thanks for the samples, although I currently use a Sony A7R2 I've been thinking about the Z for my M lenses. interesting corners samples. I generally hate doing this sort of testing but I was curious how this lens performed on the Nikon given it's thinner coverglass. Here is a sample of an extreme corner on a A7r2 with the ZM25 and the Optosigma PCX lens shot wide open at f2.8, very mild sharpening in PS. I'm wondering if even on the Nikon the ZM would benefit from the PCX.

Anyone know where to get a Novoflex Leica M- Nikon Z adapter?
On their German website they list it in stock, but apparently do not offer shipping to the USA. When I get to shipping instructions, it states 'no shipping options currently available"

Not to flood the Z7 thread with other brands, but for comparison purposes here are similar shots with the M10 (no lens profile applied). Taken a couple of hours later. The light had changed significantly. Also remember the M10 is 24mp

Based on what I'm seeing I'm thinking the PCX might help on the Z7 as well.
I took some shots today with the ZM25 and the Sony A7rii. The lighting was very different, so... My sense is that for this lens, the Z7 is maybe a bit more than 1 stop better than the A7rii for smearing in the extreme corners. The M10 is still the best for smearing.

No, I don't have one.
Thanks, the PCX really inproves the corner performance of the some Ms when shooting wide open, made a big difference on the ZM25 and ZM35 Distagon, I don't use one on the 90M APO, 85ZM or the Tri-Elmar 16-18-21 which I since sold.

CVickery, The corner on Z7 looks pretty bad with 25mm. Does it have correct infinity mark? Maybe also worthto check if there is any decentering. I had 25mm before, I feel its corner need f8 to fully tight up on M240.
suteetat, I really miss 35mm Cron V1 8 element myself. Another real example that never sell you classic leica M glass.
Joakim, Nice sample from 100MP, very nice bokeh. I like MP100 better than 135 myself even it has more CA. I still feel this, 21 and 50 and 85 planner are stars out ZF/ZE line.
For me, I might try 105E before 100MP for my next lens. Given I like 58G on Z7 very much. It is definitely a much more reliable lens on Z7 under AFS and it offers smoothest bokeh I have seen from standard lens. I also look for adding 300f4 or 500f5.6 for myself for some non flying bird shot. Z7 is so lovely on hand with those light long glass.
One more thing I want to mention is deep shadow color cast of Z7. D810 has that, D850 doesn't. Now Z7 has green cast as well. Not a huge deal, but it is a flaw.

Yes, this is a nice small little gem and the price seems to be slowly creeping up here and there especially the German version. Certainly one of the better investment in lenses

I did some shooting today with the 24 Summilux, 35 Summilux and 50 Summilux.
The 24 had not unexpectedly smearing in the corners but not a disaster. A little soft and a lot of vignetting wide open but it becomes very sharp in the center at f/2, still a lens that I am going to try out more on the Z7
The 35 looks very good so far with good corners from f/2.8
I realise that for proper corner tests at infinity it's best to have a tripod which I didn't have today so my results are very preliminary. I might also shoot the M10 alongside the Z7 for some reference shoots because I hardly ever shoot infinity at f/1.4-2.0 so I don't remember how these lenses behave then.
