What's Instagram? lol, I'm not a big fan of social-media, perhaps if I was shooting for money I'd have one, but I'm not, not to mention too many people read too much into the number of followers someone has.
Bumping this just to see if my fellow Instagrammers have noticed a decline in activity on the app in the last few months. Not doing anything differently, my views per post have gone from around 10-15k to around 3-5k, with engagement following suit, down around 50%. Make me suspicious that I might be getting filtered on the hashtag pages or something (assuming others aren't seeing the change as well).

Many Instagram administrators when choosing advertising sites focus their attention only to number of likes. For sure, likes are an important indicator of activity, but it is necessary to pay attention not only to the number of likes, but also to analyze content and accounts thematics, how do I get the opportunity to write auto comments in profile https://igautolike.com/product/instagram-auto-comments/ will this service help me?
I'm not a fan of auto commenting or auto liking software, but there are a number of them out there. I know people that have used them, and they supposedly up your posts in the algorithm. They can also get your account shut down or locked by liking or commenting too frequently. I've also seen an obvious auto comment on a post about a high school volleyball team who lost a team member. For some reason the auto comment also tagged me. Strange, hugely insensitive and downright horrible. All in the name of increasing instagram engagement.
Feel free to do whatever, but there are risks for each and from what I've heard they really don't help all that much.

Yes, I and a number of fellow IG users have noticed this. It's gotten harder and harder to gain any traction on IG.

Regarding the 3rd party stuff...I'm currently in a 7 day ban for using "third party services to gain likes or follows" and I've done nothing but use the IG app. True, I did purge about 3,000 follows over the course of a week, but if I'm banned for just using the app, there is no way I'd be using a 3rd party service. I've read too many horror stories that it's not worth risking having the account shut down.
Given that traction is a virtual impossibility these days, my interest in growing my account is pretty much done. I think I'd be better spent spinning up a website with referral links and my own print store instead of relying on IG for eyeballs and sales.
Yes, I got tired of Instagram and haven't posted anything in a few months. Maybe later, but for now I'm sticking with Flickr. It isn't perfect either, but I prefer to use my computer and big screen instead of the phone and photos stay "alive" longer (because of albums and such even older photos get views and likes, which almost never happens on Instagram). It's a shame though that Smugmug hasn't handled the transfer very well and lots of users have left.
My instagram is a mix between automotive and event/concert content since that is mostly what I shoot along with random film exposures here and there. https://www.instagram.com/slimsnappedya/
I strongly recommend staying away from any auto-commenting apps. You'll inevitably make an inappropriate comment (like the example liftedspirit recounted above), and every experienced user who sees it will know you're a phony.
But the sad truth about Instagram growth is that the vast majority of apparently successful photographer, model, and "influencer" accounts have had their numbers juked in some artificial way, either by purchasing followers (which is less common now after recent purges), or by following/unfollowing thousands of accounts over time. These people rarely get caught unless they do this at too high a rate, and that's unlikely to change because Instagram has so much money tied up in them.
The only app I would recommend is something like "Followers - Unfollowers", which will let you know who is following and then unfollowing you.
