Momma snagged a shot of the 1st Verdin we've ever encountered, in Las Vegas last weekend.
Hey Brian-
I took 57 shots of him in this sequence. They will usually transfer the fish and eat it in flight. He initially transferred it to his mouth, but then took it back out fearing he'd be chased down by all those watching. Their behavior is so interesting-the photos are a bonus.
Finally got my copy.
First test shot through the window on a lousy day.
Very happy with the details. No fine-tune yet.
Now impatiently waiting for some sunny days (can take weeks )
