I recently received my 500pf and am considering which 14TC to purchase. I will mainly be using the lens bare for falcons and other high speed birds in flight but occasionally want some additional reach with a 1.4x tc. Does anybody have first hand, objective experience comparing the performance of the 14II vs 14III with the 500 PF? Thanks so much for any advice. PS, I skimmed over the thread but didn't find my question although I'm sure its here somewhere so I apologize if I just missed it.

Do you ever have this kind of fun with Kookaburras Lance?

Robert, unfortunately, I had to quote Nuclearjock's post as your post has disappeared.
Love those Kookaburras! If there is one thing I would miss if I ever had to leave Australia (however, there would be many things I would miss and there is no way I will ever leave the greatest country on earth ), it would be Kookaburras and their infectious laugh.
Lance, amazing photos! How much post processing do you do to your images? I just got my 500pf and am struggling to get the detail you are. A photo I took today of a red tail.

I accidentally deleted the original post, thinking it was a duplicate.
Nuclearjock’s comment made me laugh, and I laughed every time I re-read the words “Good grief!!!” while playing the video of that raucous group.
Yes, I have long-felt that Australia is among the most fascinating natural treasures of the world.
I want to see more Kookaburra chaos videos! They are a riot.

That’s it Lance! You or Charles should do a short video clip of a really close Kookaburra with that new Z or the D850. Just a suggestion.
