Where do those a7rv on B&S come from? I would imagine they can be still returned to the retailer for a full refund, especially if indeed brand new. So why are people selling at a loss on B&S already?

I am guessing because they still want the revenue, albeit at slightly lower margins. And because they cannot do that officially (due to the terms of their agreements with the manufacturer, Sony in this case), they just work with some outside folks who also get a small middleman share...

Got one thru GT, my local store said they couldn't understand how I got the price I got. Camera came it's brand new US model

Bought a lens from them via GreenToe recently. Shipped a couple of days after offer was accepted. Brand new US Model lens arrived with a receipt with serial number printed on it matching the lens. Submitted form for 6 year warranty on Tamron's site. So far so good.

Cardinal related... we're close to their retail location but I have never used them because of the PA sales tax (we have no tax here in DE). A friend just dropped $16k with them on a complete Oly package including the back-ordered 150-400mm/TC + a bunch of other lenses and two OM-1 bodies. He said they were terrific to deal with. YMMV

I lived near by Cardinal Camera for many years and used them in store for some purchases. If ever a problem exist Kurt took care of it. I also attended many antique camera trade shows in the Philly area where Kurt always had a t able of used goodies set up, and never any problems dealing with him there.
Just my instore and camera show dealings with Kurt/Cardinal Camera of course.

I've purchased multiple cameras and lenses from Cardinal (all through GT), and they've been fantastic to work with. On my last lens purchase, I had to return it for a warranty issue. Cardinal sent a replacement to me the same day I called, I had it within two days, and they simply asked me to return my defective lens once I had the new one. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything from them.
