Even already having the FE 12-24.
I've been using the Venos 60mm macro, the Laowa 15/2 and the 25mm macro ships to me Monday. Might as well make it a foursome

This looks pretty innovative . . . Of course, until we see some images and a Bronco test or two, I won't put my 12-24 up for sale just yet. But I'm certainly intrigued. Laowa is certainly trying to disrupt the lens market.

Been thinking about this as a zoom where the weak spot might be and I’m thinking it’s probably in the corners at 10mm more than at 18mm. On a lens like this I would hope it’s strong point is one the longer side and for most people 10mm would be the least used but a strong 12,15,18 would fit me nicely. If you have the 12-24 I would wait for some direct comparisons first. I’d really like to test this thing . Anyone have any connections please throw my name in the hat to test and review.

We really ought to fund a lens testing start up fund for @GMPhotography; he can buy whatever lens, test on Big Bronco, then resell to replenish the fund for the next one.

If it has good sun stars and flare/ghosting control it might be a travel lens candidate for me.
Fit nicely in with the 35/2.8 Sony and 85/1.8 Sony as a 3-lens light weight travel kit.

The ability to use filters from 10mm until 18mm without vignetting is a BIG plus for this lens. No more humongous filter adapters and 150x150mm filters!
My only concern is if Laowa calculated the clear filter into the lens optical design. (So the lens would be sold with a clear filter attached).
I am almost certain they did and if so, it will be amazingly compact for landscape photography.

YEP! I have the Nikon fish...used it a lot in the 70's and 80's, and it definitely had that feature (rear filter). It came with a little packet of 3 filters to use and one blank.
I have wondered why more lenses don't use that option
