Mine was accepted 3/25 and they said I am next to get it when they get the next shipment.
Well mine arrived, i had it held at a FedEx hold center at a local Walgreens, tracking shows it was delivered at 12 noon ,my wife went to pick it up ,but they say they don't have it.I called fedex they say its there.
Last week I put an offer on a Sony 55mm f/1.8 ZA 25% below typical retail. No takers and it expired. I wasn't surprised.
Yesterday morning I placed a new offer on the same lens for only 15% off (still a great deal, if you ask me). Offer was accepted this morning. i JUST got notification it shipped. So offer accepted and shipped same day. NOT BAD!
I'll let you know how things go once it arrives. So far so good. Communication from Greentoe was prompt and to the point.
Also, about 1.5 weeks ago I made an offer on the hard-to-find 24-105mm Sony. The offer that was accepted only gives me $50 bucks off, or about 4%. I would like a better discount but I can't find it anywhere and why would a vendor sell for less when they are sold out everywhere. Issue I was told it will ship in 2 weeks. So clearly the vendor doesn't have it yet but is willing to sell it to me with $50 off to get the revenue now. I'm good with that as I can't get it elsewhere either. Time will tell IF/WHEN I get it and I will update this thread when it closes and I have glass on hand.
So...its now 2 weeks post release date for A7 III. I preordered mine via GreenToe 3/28, still no camera in hand. I beelieve what they say, that they have run out of A7 III stocks but for how long? When asked over email, their response was hopefully next week or two....hmmm
I even ordered a battery via GT but with 0 updates for few days from GT ir the seller, i emailed GT and found out the batttey was out of stock from the seller yet they charged my cc. It was the same seller (Pr....) of my A7III preorder. So last week i replied that if the battery is not in stock i would like to cancel. No response. After a week of no response, emailed GT again today, asking if I need to contact the seller directly to cancel the order still no response yet.... At this point I just want to cancel both orders from the same seller due to the reasons stated + my cc was charged the same day of both orders and A7III & Z battery now showing up in-stock at various online stores (Focus camera today and BuyDig last week) and B&H preorders resuming shipment based on comments on forum and SAR pg.
I have used GreenToe in the past for few lenses with absolutely no issues and fast prompt email/updates from then seller (Ad......).

From what I've been reading here you should contact the vendor directly and cancel your order. Forget about going through Greentoe.
I preordered my via GreenToe on 3/28 from the same seller too. I'll give them another week, then I'll cancel. This is the first time I use greentoe, and it's definitely not worth it for me. I will not use the service again for sure.
I suspect that demand is outstripping supply. Best Buy said to expect one available for inspection on 4/21, well today I went there and they do not have any. Probably sold out with what few that they were allocated.
Shutterbug camera also does not have any, not that I would buy from either of the two places (I favor B&H)
Wow, in those cases, a month's waiting time! I wonder if Sony dealers are telling Sony about long waits and is Sony doing something about stepping up production?
Has anyone made an offer on gt for the a7iii recently? I read someone got the camera with kit lens for 1850, I am curious if the price has gone down since then (I m only interested in the body) but wouldnt mind the kit lens if it is under 1800.

Nikon dealers are having same problems with D850 and 500pf, so it is not only Sony.
