Thank you for placing an offer on the new Sony A7 III. As you may or may not know, this camera is brand new and has not yet started shipping to customers. That said, due to the high demand of this camera and the lower prices our retailers are accepting, they do require that you pay in full at the time your offer is accepted. This is the only way anyone would agree to sell at lower prices in advance.
If your offer is accepted and you need to cancel before it's shipped, please let us know and we will get it refunded immediately. Please note that the estimated shipping time of April 10 is based on what Sony has told our retailers and is subject to change.

Thank you for the info. Still on the fence about the A7III vs. A7RIII and whether to sell my A7RII...
Don't know much about Sony, but I will say that I have heard of people getting GreenToe accepted amounts for items that are not in stock. Sometimes people have said that they end up having to wait quite a while. In fact, I am not entirely sure what their contractual deadlines really are, if any. Not saying this will happen here, but I wouldn't be surprised, whomever the vendor is, if they decides to make your order one of the very last ones that they fulfill for this camera until it is typically in stock everywhere. May be worth the price for you and may not happen at all. Just something to consider.

They sure will make you one of the last to get the camera. Why wouldn't they? They already have your money.....
A nice response from Greentoe. By the way, is the battery charger included in Greentoe's contract or is it extra? If it is extra, I imagine it could cost another $50-$75.

I Greentoe'd an A7Riii. They wrote and told me straight up I'd be waiting two weeks if I accepted. I saved several hundred and told them the wait was not a problem.
I was reading about saving money through Greentoe, so I gave it a shot for a a7III with the 28-70 kit lens.
We went back and forth a couple times, (cause I low balled them) then I accepted their bid for $1850.
I Just did this a short time ago, and the camera isn't out yet, so I'm not real sure when it will ship.
I'm in no great hurry, but I hope it gets here by May 1.
