Guys, Greentoe asks people not to disclose the special discount they get as a goodwill gesture. If you're waiting to get $1950 for the kit, you will probably wait a long time because this is not the price they offer. If you get a discount as an apology from Greentoe, just take it and be happy. They are not going to give $1950 for regular offers.
They are actually not allowing dealers to accept offers for the kit after the several reported issues.

I haven't seen anything about discussing a special discount on their site.
I know they ask you to share if you think you got a good deal, I feel this is still a pretty good deal.
If you can point me to where is says that, I'd like to check it out. (I've looked on the site and my email ... nothing)
I can also relay that I'm not saying who is selling it to me for that price. That is part of the agreement.
I've been asked on Facebook and through PM's. Sorry, I'm not saying.
On another site someone inquired at B&h about stock status. In stock now but won’t ship until the 10th as stated before. Also, his order will not ship in the first batch even though the order was placed within 10 minutes of the opening bell. It looks like these Greentoe orders are going to take a bit wherever they are coming from.

________
B&H and Adorama, both Jewish operated businesses ( I believe) close for one week around Easter time. So, yes, don't expect much shipping before April 10.

Not trying to promote greentoe, but I preordered one with $1850 offer accepted. Is this the best price I can get now?
I can't answer your question. However, I can relate a caveat. I ordered the A7R3 via Greentoe and have been waiting for over a week for the vendor whose counter-offer I accepted to ship the camera. When I called the vendor about it, they were rude to me. The point is that while you can get a good deal, some vendors will present an offer without actually having the camera in stock. YMMV.
No $1850 offers will be accepted for the kit. Anyone who got this accepted was by mistake and orders were cancelled. Greentoe now doesn't allow vendors to accept kit offers because of the mess that came out of this.

I don’t think that is necessarily true. I didn’t get the $1850 deal, but figure the $2000 deal I did get was pretty good for the kit.
I also got an offer this week for $2000 for the kit, but decided to stick with my B&H preorder, so they are still making offers on the kit.

Greentoe makes it clear that they want you to tell people about your deal--which of course includes the price--but not to say who the seller was because the stores often have agreements with the manufacturer to observe a particular selling price (a.k.a. price-fixing).
There is nothing wrong with saying what price you got. You obviously don't have to, but Greentoe is happy if you do.

I think the distinction here is that they seem to be asking you to refrain from discussing the solution (discount) they offered you for this particular transaction, in which there was some confusion and they made a special accommodation for you. In general, as Peter (@chiron) mentioned, Greentoe encourages users to share the deal they got, but not disclose the seller.
