I'd forgotten how sharp the 40/1.2 was wide open at infinity (center area). Just testing my new SE.
No CA correction or anything extra was done to this picture aside from a minor exposure tweak and my default sharpening. (A7R IV)

I had some business with the City of Oceanside today. On my way into the meeting I saw this amazing Bird of Paradise in incredible light with a plain stucco wall behind it. After my meeting I went to my car, retrieved my camera and returned to take an image of it. Of course the CV 40mm f/1.2 was mounted already. It may be the most perfect flower of this kind I have ever seen.
I also took a picture of this interesting window just above the plant.
I sometime like to collect element pictures like these. They don't tell a story, but are graphically interesting to me.
