Hi, if I want to adapt this lens to Nikon Z6, which version shall I take, VM or VE? I have LM-Z macro adapter, so my only concern is the optical performance. Thanks.
E will perform slightly better, maybe 1 stop difference, possibly slightly less.

I went to the camera store yesterday to pick up a light weight ultra wide lens for travel. I have had the CV 40 f/1.2 mounted on my camera all week to develop manual focus skills.
Since I haven't shot any people with it yet, I took a quick snap of the Tamron sales rep.. Managed to get decent focus at f/1.2 on my only shot. I really like the colors and rendering of this lens. Both the shooting experience, and the results are special. I am enjoying it very much. I me be developing a Voigtlander addiction.
It is sunset season here in La Jolla. This is a quick handheld shot of this evenings show sitting in my backyard for sunset as I often do.
Images like this one don't really show the uniqueness of this lens. But, the VC 40mm 1.2 remains stuck to my camera fo now, so that is what I shot it with. Works great. Sharp, and nice, accurate colors. No saturation or vibrance added to this image.
Still working on learning to manual focus. The Grandkids are visiting, and I am one day out of the hospital from having my Gallbladder removed. So, we went for a walk at the La Jolla Cove. Good news is that all the shots today were in good focus.
Below, the best part of the holidays. Grandchildren, we are blessed.

The 40mm didn't get as much use as the RX1Rii or Loxia 21 during my trip to Tokyo and Kyoto, but still produced some great images. The Japanese bartender, wavy building, and doorways are some of my favorites from the trip.
I am new to the forum and got this lens this last weekend after reading every page of this post. I have been having an absolute blast testing it around the house. The joy of of using a manual focus lens is something I didn't realize I was missing so much. 20191221-DSC07578 by RSchwenn, on Flickr
