My goodness these images coming from this lens makes me want to pick one up from the B&S forum! I'm a newbie with MF but this lens makes me want to try.
Just do it. Even my wife has learned to focus this lens pretty well.
Here's some shots from Tallinn, where we were couple days from sunday to tuesday. Dind't take any other lenses with me.
The only thing stopping me from buying one right now is the probable release of the 50mm f/1.2 soon, e-mount. Hopefully voigtlander does not take much longer so I can make a decision...
Cross posted from the main thread. Last two were ISO 320 and 100 respectively and lifted a little in LR. I had someone walk by and tell me that it was probably too dark to take a photo
I must say "thank you" to Fred Miranda for this site that taught me a lot about this CV40 f / 1.2 and made me want to use it. This is a very particular photo lens that changes a lot of modern, too digital optics ...
After the CV 10mm and CV 65mm, I now have a range of optics that delight me!
I'm hesitate
Again thank you for your opinions and your tests !

Don't do it! If you do, you'll contract the Voigtlander sickness, for which there is no known cure.

So close to contracting this illness haha! I'm just questioning how good my manual focus skills will be. Considering renting it or buying it and practicing practicing.

I just got my 3rd Voigtlander 40mm, so now I have FE 40/1.2 Nokton, M42 40/2 Ultron and VM 40/1.4 Nokton. The plan was to only keep *one* of the film/digital ones, but they are both amazing and have their own signature..
