Keep those images coming and if you can load Raws up that be great. For me I need to see stuff in C1 because all my tests are through that software. I’m dying to get this thing on Big Bronco

Same here.
Exif issues get worse when you throw in a CV 4/180 Apo Lanthar, where you really need to dial in the correct focal length to let IBIS help with focusing.
And then change for Laowa 15mm 2.0 (without adjusting fl) and you will think you are sitting in a low rider when looking through the viewfinder because it is all shaky...

This lens is looking better and better.

Not sure I'll keep my Zhongi 50/0.95 after I get it. The Loxia 35 is also looking questionable.

I looked in the past, but didnt see anyone chipping E mount adapters, that would be real nice. For now, I've got TAP for the CV 35, so it's easy to distinguish, but would love a chip for my vintage 35-70/100-300/200 for the sake of IBIS. Would be fine if the zooms were split in the middle, even better if I can program odd focal lengths for identification purposes.

Just pointing out the pretty big physical difference between these two.

Voigtländer Nokton 40 f/1.2 FE:
Close-focus: 35cm
Length: 59.3mm
Weight: 410g

Mitakon Zhongyi 50mm f/0.95
Close-focus: 50cm
Length: 87mm
Weight: 720g

(Edit: adding the CV 35/1.7 Ultron)

Close-focus: 50cm
Length: 50.6mm + 9.72mm adapter = 60.32 mm
Weight: 238g + 50g adapter + 27g 5m PCX with adapter rings = 315g
Weight with TAP: 238g + 133g + 27g = 398g

I don't have any good "portrait models" as my family members don't like to get their photos posted in public. Hopefully some other soon-to-be-owners of the lens can pitch in for this

My Fotasy and K&F Concept Leica M to E adapters weigh 50 grams though. TAP is correct at 133g.

Also there will be practically no difference in exposure (tests indicate a large amount of light loss at f/0.95 with the Mitakon).

In terms of entrance pupil diameter it's 33.3mm for the Voigtländer and 52.6mm for the Mitakon, so a modest difference in blurring ability of distance objects.

For reference a 50mm f/1.4 is 35.7mm so it will look like a marginally wider 50/1.4 (with about the same depth of field).

I would be great if the CV 40/1.2 @f/1.7 is as sharp at the CV 35/1.7 which is razor sharp from wide-open.

Looks like MFD. Let's hope this was handheld with some motion blur involved.

Yes, but it only matters if the shutterspeed is faster than about 1/1000 sec.

Yes but those are the wide open f stops that are the bokeh stops . So speeds will run high
