Wow, it appears that Photobucket has suddenly (as of June 20th) changed the rules and is now demanding $400.00 per year from all users in order to have the ability to hot-link photos (or "3rd party hosting" as they call it) with a "Plus500" plan. Even the other less expensive plans won't allow hot-linking / 3rd party hosting!
I've Googled this, and there's a huge uproar about it:
Interesting! I right-clicked on a Photobucket icon and selected "Open Link in New Tab". Once that loaded, I hit the refresh (F5) key on this page, and my photo re-appeared, so I continued and did 'em all. Are they showing for you?
Dang. Thanks for letting me know. Yes, they are gone for me now too overnight. I just now did the same trick on the very first image only, so is it showing now for a brief time?
This sudden decision without any warning from the people at Photobucket is causing all kinds of grief (and anger) for the ~100 million users.
Wow, just now got an email from Photobucket stating that all of the linked images that were "unlinked" (thanks to their terrible, greedy decision to demand huge annual fees) are now back up again!
