Hmh, are the buttons of 50S different / better? Have to keep an eye for used ones then if they pop up locally.
I haven't used the 50R but have had no problems using the 50S with gloves. For glacial hikes I use Vallerret Ipsoot with thin Merino wool liner gloves inside. The Vallerret gloves allow you to open your thumb and index fingers, very neat.
Can't travel these days so exploring local towns within an hour's drive from home. New Hope, PA. Thunderstorm and clouds in distance led to some dramatic late evening light.

Excellent, and the background separation is phenomenal, almost unreal.
And for the baby, couldn’t you merge two images?
Thank you! The separation would have been greater, but this was a crop. I positioned the camera further away in order to hide a few structures in the background.
I considered compositing for a smiling baby face, but there was too much going on at the time. It was hot. And humid. And cooperation dwindled quickly after the first 10 shots.
I do have a shot if her face that I may composite a little later.
