La Val di Morins - Mill Valley, Dolomites Region San Vigilio.
The valley along the Seres brook, in the mountaineering village Lungiarü, is also known as the Mills because of the many hydroelectric mills along its banks
Too much time on my hands...I played around with a recent image to suggest a painting. For those that don't know, before I got my B.S. and M.S. Engineering Degrees from Drexel, I had out of high school a full tuition and fees scholarship to The Tyler School of Fine Arts at Temple University. I did not finish. I actually studied under Dean Boris Bly (sculpture). GFX 50R 32-64mm lens, ISO 400, f13.

Spent all day editing and finishing three images I had stashed away from our car trips to out of the way places. Here is the third image. It is a bit "busy", but I like it anyway as it gives me the feeling of being there. GFX 50R 32-64mm lens, ISO 400 f13.

Thanks it was a very early morning. I was up at Tipsoo until about 11pm with quite a few people. Some stayed later, others headed back. There were a dozen people at the smaller lake and another dozen behind the bigger one. I was there last week with one other person and he posted his shot on FB and last night 12 people were clustered around his tripod holes...
A couple of images with the GF 120mm. These are both heavily cropped and probably represent around 5-10% of the full frame. House Finch feathers and Ruby-throated hummingbird.
A shot from a 14 hour hike at Vatnajökull glacier Iceland. Used a Peak Design Capture clip to mount the camera to my backpack shoulder straps. Did not feel heavy having it hanging on my chest for the whole hike.
How is the 50R to operate at cold temperatures? I'm somewhat worried if the little joystick works when it gets really cold (does it work at all?). It seems to be the only real solution to pan zoomed liveview/EVF feed and check for correct focus. Maybe using focus peaking could be enough, dunno.

It works fine, but it's a horrible camera to use with gloves. The buttons are extremely small and totally flush with the body, so you can't feel them through the gloves. Don't understand how anyone could come up with such a design.
