p.10 #10 · Official drone photography IMAGE thread. (Not primarily for discussion, see post #1)
I'll be 80 next month and recently bought my 2nd drone (Mavic Air). First one was the Yuneeq Q500. I'm having a blast with my son, an airline pilot, who enjoys it as well.
The particular beach is called "Glass Beach"...an area containing lots of "beach glass"... beach glass is small (fingernail-sized and smalled for the most part), tumbled/smoothed pieces of glass, scattered about the beach...this particular beach is more famous than other glass beaches for the quantity of glass that can be found, due to the beach being near an old trash dump from decades ago. Beach glass can can be found on almost any beach, but some are definitely better than others. This beach was a bit of a walk...2.6 miles each way from the nearest parking lot.
In the photo with the beach on the left, the mountains of Olympic National Park can be seen in the distance. This is a really beautiful part of the country.
