For some stupid reasons, I sold my Batis 40mm I used here... I regretted that but last week, I bought another copy and the second one seems to perform as well as the one I had. Phew!
Love the colours and tones in your colour image. Must be the "Nikon color science" at play here, or your skills at adjusting the sliders when post processing the image.....but it looks so natural and compelling. Just wonderful.

I sold mine as well and also had regrets. That‘s why I bought it back. Still have to find out that it performs equally well (as the first copy). But I‘m confident
Hm, here is a close-up image taken with my "new" Batis 40mm. I figured since it has the close focus capability and one of my wife's flowering plants bears... yes, a flower, the heck why not 😜
