Interchangeable viewfinder rumor.. Oh this could be not good.. Could mean DSLR like body.. No adaptability.. Bigger then expected/wanted...
In the days of tilting screens a waist level finder is kind of useless. If it's true it must be rangefinder or EVF interchangeable. I'm hoping it will like an X-T2 big brother.

Tilting screens don's work very well as a 100% replacement for a traditionally designed waist level finder outdoors because they are not shielded from reflection, bright light, etc. If you add a hood - which I have done - you end up with a cumbersome contraption that is a pain in the ass to use and which often moves out of position under it's own weight (particularly in the case of the better, rigid hoods).
An interchangeable EVF finder would be pretty damn innovative for a digital camera imo. It may not actually add that much weight/ complexity if it is an EVF system and would not need to be a bigger DSLR design at all (addressing Adam's concern).

That kind of accurately describes the TLR camera systems that we shot from the waist... ;-)

Can't have your cake and eat it, too.
Having shot a TLR Rollei and Hasselblad 500cm via WLF for 25 Years as my main cameras, I would disagree...I just hope Fuji includes a menu setting to reverse the image from left to right.

Let's Make Photography Fun Again! I think this is what Fuji is bringing to the table with their "compact" medium format, and I can't wait to see the full specs. More importantly, I hope it's going to be affordable.

Styling looks terrible. The X1D is starting to look like it's worth the price premium. HOWEVER, it all comes down to lenses.. Since the Hassy lens offering is terrible.
Any word on the lenses yet? Wasn't the fuji rumour guy there?? Why didn't he post the lenses offered. What's the point of being there if you're not going to give live updates?
I get that the event hasn't started yet. But someone was clearly staring at the image of the lenses. Nobody thought to pay attention?

Nah, looks like a Contax 645 and that makes it to me far more attractive as a real working platform.

It's not for me. I know from my year with a P645Z (now sold) that I can't hold it still enough to make the MF world work handheld and I don't like tripods. No advantage for me over a 24mp sensor.

I someone snapped the image when they were testing the projector or something and sent him. The press conference is at 17 GMT I think.
