This should be cross posted on the "people" forum!

Haha.. thanks for the suggestion. To be honest I haven't even looked at the other boards except the Nikon and m43 boards here at FM.
But they probably won't like my technical mumbo jumbo talk so I might stick to the gear forums haha.
Anyways, it was just to share some images showing some attributes of the lens as I've found these image threads extremely useful in helping my own purchasing decisions in the past so I thought I'd do my part.
Cheers

This lens is on ebay, from sellers with excellent reputation, for $1800 shipped and listed as US models. That's almost $400 less than B&H. Anyone go this route?
You have a return policy and buyer protection, so it's not that of a risk. However, I prefer to buy my expensive equipment from reputable sellers or here on the forum.
Just got this lens thanks to all the great photos in this thread. Used it at a recent wedding and trash the dress session. This image is from the trash the dress.
For the wedding I paired the 105 1.4 with the 58 1.4 (which I recently re-purchased as well) and a 24 1.8. Loved all three lenses but found the 24 a bit wide. I then paired the two 1.4 lenses with a 28 1.8 for the trash the dress and think I have found my three lens combo. 28 1.8, 58 1.4 (will be my main and most used) and the 105 1.4.
Really wish Nikon would refresh the 28 1.4 with modern optics and coatings.

This is my main kit for weddings and portraits as well!
