Granted this studio is not MINE, but its one out of two studio where I work. And Im pretty much the only one that uses this particular studio :P
Thanks to a thorough reading of this fantastic thread late last year, with all the great suggestions and info within, I finally bit the bullet and started putting together some gear to experiment with studio lighting.
My makeshift "studio" is my apartment's living room, but fortunately the ceiling there is *just* high enough to allow the use of a boom for a hair light.
This thread has over 2000 posts and approaching 2 million views, sticky it already so we dont have to make these silly bumps to keep such a useful thread alive
Here's a shot taken using my new set-up a few posts above. . . I was very blessed to have Brandi as my model. She was exceptionally patient with me as I tinkered with strobe settings and seamless paper and lighting configurations. And thanks to all the help and suggestions I've gotten from this very thread my first opportunity to photograph her did not go to waste!

Next time could you please link photos that have scantily clad women in them and label them not safe for work? I'm at work and it could have been pretty disastrous on my behalf.
web browsing is a common time killer around the office, especially in my department (digital printing specialist) and at my workstation. Not safe for work images are a different story.
My apologies for posting board inappropriate content, though I was only posting images (non-nudes of course) based off prior content I have seen in this thread. I have removed the two of my model where she's posing in lingerie and the one I've kept of her in a summer dress I've reduced to a clickable thumbnail.

Again my apologies.
Someone is "killing time" reading FM at work and you did something wrong? Thats rich.
