(I have human portraits with that combination, but I try to avoid posting friends and family photos on-line. Portraits with that lens with and without the adapter are pretty sublime).

Stumbled across this thread late last night. Great idea!
I primarily use my Fuji cameras with adapted lenses. Mainly manual focus Nikkor (both SLR and rangefinder lenses) but do shoot with Helios and other M42 lenses.
Sharing one below. A little different perspective using a X-Pro2 with a Nikkor 24mm/2.8 AIS lens adapted using a Kipon Tilt & Shift adapter. Shifted the focal plane to give a deep but narrow focus zone down the sidewalk.

At first I thought, what the heck is wrong with your lens! Then I re-read your post and saw that you used the shift adapter. Pretty cool affect.
The combinations of lenses one can use on mirrorless is a BIG selling point.
