Sailors Delight. Nice colors Leighton.

I figured you get this. These Fujis continue to impress me with their color output. I hardly have to do any processing to the raw files compared to my old Nikon files.

May have to put some of my Nikkors on the Buy Sell board

You are experiencing the same thing that happened to me! Only I got hooked on Fuji glass. Having said that, I may have to dip my toe into some Voigtlanders sooner or later.

Belated Happy New Year.
I had a new old lens delivered this week. Have not had a lot of time to test it but I like what I see so far.
It is a mint condition Leica Hektor 13.5cm f4.5. Serial number dates it to 1958. I cannot believe the shape it is in for any age.
Well under $100 if you look hard enough.
I only had a short time to test it today with a walk around the pond. There are mixed reviews of this most affordable lens and it does not have high saturation or contrast for color photography wide open, but I primarily shoot for black and white with my XPro-2 and bought it for this purpose.
It is extremely light weight compared to the solid brass Nikkor rangefinder lenses in LTM mount from the same period. I will do some side by side testing with a Nikkor as time permits this winter. But for the price, this one is definitely a keeper.
Below is a shot with the lens on the Fuji and a few from around the pond. Nothing great, but I like the rendering so far.
Thanks for looking.
George

Nice gallery Roger! I especially like the two portrait shots.
I am looking forward to kicking the tires on my copy some more. Only had a short while before dark today. Snow setting in now, so may get a good opportunity after the snow settles tomorrow.

Happy New Year to you too George. Seems like the Fuji is a perfect match for you with your love of old glass.
Stay warm, looks like we're in for a little of that white stuff.
We ended up with around 8". Not bad for central NC
I took the Hektor out Saturday evening after the snow stopped and clouds cleared. Checking for infinity focus on the moon shot through some pines. Not bad wide open.
Posting full frame shot and 100% crop of just the moon and a couple from sunset.
George
100% crop. Not bad for wide open f4.5 (handheld) Sharp inexpensive lens.
