Bobu, any tips on shooting with the Ricoh GR in Iceland? I'm going there over Thanksgiving. I take it you shot RAW?
Yes, I always shoot RAW. Often in A mode with f/5.6. Be careful with the AF if you have an object in the foreground. Often the GR ignores this object and focuses instead on the background. Besides this it's a troublefree camera with a really great lens.
I've always had an interest in this camera. I really like the 28mm (35mm Equivalent) focal length and have heard great things about the image quality.
I also spent time in an apartment in the window of one of your photos above La Gamelle at Stanton and Bowery in one of your photos, which is quite the coincidence.
Another hotel going up in downtown Boise Idaho. Fourth major hotel in the last 2-years. Boise is growing so fast and getting so crowded. It is not the town it use to be. It is also losing all the great things that made it such a great city to live in.
