Thanks for your honesty shooshoo. I've been w/ them for almost 3 years and 20 some odd jobs later and know a few TL that are still w/ them. Some are in for A LOT of $$.

Everyone knows we're just the photographers who are hanging in there waiting to be compensated but what about the rest of the GF employees/investors/sponsors. Do you think they know of this forum?

Another Team Leader checking in. Like shooshoo mentioned, we are not treated any different than the rest of you nor do we have much more information than course shooters.
It is a shame the situation GF has put so many of us in. I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from the accounting department and their CEO on the delays. That being said, I'd like to chime in on Marty and Brent. They have been doing everything they can to communicate timely with myself and other shooters despite them having no control over the payment situation. Without them, I wouldn't be hearing anything at all.
I'm really hoping this all blows over and we begin receiving payments in a timely fashion like had been the case for the past few years that I have contracted with Gameface prior to this fiasco. I enjoy the assignments and am compensated well for them, once the paychecks arrive, that is..

Thanks a lot Steve. Marty and Brent are stand-up guys and I'm sure they are doing everything they can to calm the fears that we are all have. I like working for GM too and hope they can keep this business going somehow.

I am also a Team Leader.... I know about as much as anyone else on this thread. I am also in pretty deep. I have no plans on quitting anytime soon as I made a commitment to honor my contracts. Is that a dumb move? Only time will tell.
Is not being paid frustrating...ABSOLUTELY!!!! I don't sit here and complain about it because that does nothing to rectify the situation. I just go out and shoot other assignments. Honestly though my biggest issue is with the CEO/CFO not communicating.
Brent and Marty have shared everything they know....I have known Brent for over ten years and believe him when he says he has given all the info he has. I have become great friends with Marty and DO NOT BELIEVE he deserves the tongue lashing on this forum. He is the only one trying to communicate with people on this forum with his limited knowledge of the "Back of House" payment issues.
I am looking forward to the day this GF situation gets better.......

Just adding to the comments.
I received a call a few weeks ago from one of the top VP's at GF and in our 25+ minute discussion I bluntly asked him to be up front on payments and when if ever will I see them. The word for word response he told me was "GF screwed up big time with cash flow end of last year/early on this year and he has no idea when things will get moving" I asked if he had any kind of timing i.e weeks, month's, etc. The response I received was months from now not weeks. I also asked if anyone has been paid since May as that is when things stopped for me. The response I received was only the people with small amount tickets not the TL's or thousand dollar out people. It sounds like from everything I got its going to be many months from now if at all that we get paid. He did note that if photographers want to back out of contracts for any reason because of pay issues they can without penalty. The call ended by him saying they are deeply sorry and have been trying everything possible to fix it and they all know they screwed up big time.

Well I worked the weekend of May 13-14 and owed $906.50. Do you think that's a "big ticket"? It's a big ticket to me. The May 13-14th weekend is right on the border because I was told in a July 20th email that the first weekend in May is where they were trying to get those invoices paid. But like I said, that was over a month ago.
I'm hopeful, but sorry I won't work anymore events.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that's glad to hear that somebody is getting paid for their spring/early summer jobs. I'm still waiting for the weekend of May 13-14th and the summer is almost over. Maybe it will get here in time for Christmas.

It would be nice to know why the payments are random....Are they picking straws? Flipping a coin? It should be in order of event. Not really fair that some people are getting paid for more recent events.
