These are great. I don't usually vote for featured thread but I just had to give you an upvote here. I can't wait until my skill set and/or gear allows me to capture such nice images of wildlife :-)
My wife does not approve of this crazy idea of bringing pricey camera gear on a canoe/kayak. There seems to be a serious situation in this forum with crazy people doing crazy things inches from water
Well this set probably sold another hundred or so of that sweet Nikon D500!
You had an amazing outing Harsha, these are magical
What a wonderful feel in the light in this set, a lot of ambiance to enhance the mood. This is a dream set, congrats on it all coming together, whew these are winners!

Like I told you when I first saw the attack sequence, those are very special images my friend! We had great light and zero wind that first morning and that greatly helped get such fine images. I look forward to our next adventure, whatever that might be!
Mike, it was a blast. Every outing I have done with you had been stellar. Thanks again.

Fabulous images. I don't know how you keep things steady in a small boat.
Thanks Carl. High shutter speed and image stabilization are the things to remember.

Amazing images Harsha. I kayak on a small lake with a red-necked grebe nest and two patrolling loons. I have yet to see a confrontation but they do keep to their own areas.

Thanks Geoff. I think the Loon/ Grebe confrontations are rare but been reported. I was so glad to see that. It unfolded so quickly, and at first I had no idea what was happening. I pointed the camera and let it fire at the scene. I was shocked to see how many of them were in focus.

Terrific images. You couldn't have gotten closer to the water level without scuba gear.
Yep, we were inches above the water and I got soaked many times.
