Stunning. Love everything about it - snow, clouds, light - all coming together in a breathtaking shot. Congrats.

Wonderful image. You have made something most are familiar with, very different. Excellent.

A commonly photographed shot. But the snow just makes this photo all that special. Voted!

Simply gorgeous. I wonder how this would look printed on metallic?

Well done!

That is simply incredible!!

I may have odd taste, but I prefer it when I web-crop out the unlit part of the arch at top. I bring it down to the highest point of the underside (about the third quarter across horizontally). Again, I may be weird, but I just wanted to throw that out there.

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried it out but I like it better how it is.

A truly gorgeous take on this scene, and totally worth showing up to shoot such an icon! When the light is this good I don't care how "over-shot" a spot might be, it's still a wonder to behold.

WRT the post-processing though, I'm not a big fan of the glowy effect that was applied, it works beautifully on the background clouds but the foreground just looks like there's a haze over it. But that's just me, I prefer simple / traditional adjustments mostly.

Hey Matthew,

thank you for your comment. Its all personal taste ofc. Actually I didnt use much "glow" in the foreground but in the background I did use some of it. I like the effect together with the mist in the canyon.

That's the most dramatic shot I have seen of this location.
