I still don't get how this lens has such horrible variation.
It's not the case with their newer CV 10 and 12mm lenses and other older Voigtlander I've used. I love the lens but can't play the returning game on it anymore.

Just find a verified good used one. It's worth the effort.

I suspect that some retailers are still selling and reselling previously returned copies, even though the current crop coming from Cosina may (all?) be improved.

I just bought a used / "tested" 15 from one of the 3 or 4 most important retail sources. On its way back tomorrow. Not so good. Unlike my used 10 bought from a credible FM source, which is wonderful. Sad to say, no additional brilliant insight here! Only another data point.

Hello guys, not sure if I should buy this copy of CV 15/4.5 III E-mount, what do you think about the corners? Shot on A7 II. Some other sample shots with a scenery in near distance (about 10-15 meters) look ok in the corners, at infinity as shots below IŽam not sure about the corner performance. Thank you. Mark.

Can anyone upload some shots with extreme corners at f/4.5 or f/5.6 from a GOOD or EXCELLENT copy of this lens? I tried 2 more copies at local store (E-mount and M-mount) and both were bad, M-mount copy had more smearing.
