I appreciate the heads-up on this matter, as I only use the MC-11 to support EF-mount non-Sigma lenses, I won't be doing any upgrades until these issues are fixed.
For sure they not must but they should.
In any case we are customers and while not officially supported Canon lens compatibility was a good argument for sales, not only for MC-11 but for Sigma lenses also.
I'm quite sure Sigma will respond some day possibly with some hidden feature.
My problem is what to do in the meantime as the best option I see is to revert but I do not know how.
Anyone here expert in computer is able to provide support?

This is really a shame, Sorry for you folks who upgraded your MC-11.
It was a close shave for me. My first thought was to do it but seeing that, apparently, version 1.06 only added compatibility with the latest Sigma lens, which I don't own, I didn't bother .. luckily.
It doesn't even work well with the latest Sigma 100-400 : OS does not turn On most of the time, and AF-S is very slow with no phase detection. Both the lens and MC11 updated with the latest firmware. Camera is the A6300 FW2.0
The same lens 100-400 with the Viltrox II adapter just works fine, I don't see these 2 issues. AF is fast and accurate in both AF-S and AF-C
Picked up a Sigma 150-600 Sport...it's a beast of a lens but tack sharp and almost no distortion. I tried it with my a7rii and a6300 with the MC-11 yesterday and wasn't thrilled with the AF on either body...I mean, it works, just takes a sec to grab focus on anything that isn't super contrasty.
Anyways, gonna play around a little more with it today, it's a little brighter outside, this should help.
Edit...Actually, I had the OS set to 2 instead of 1...Felt a lot better about the combo today...Monopod helped too...lol
Here's my 1st keeper.
a7rii/Sigma 150-600 sport at 550mm@f/6.3 (wide open)
Just for fun, I slapped on my Sigma 120-300 2.8 Version 2. ( not the sport, the one before). and it snapped right into focus and locked right away, Shot at 2.8

Not unless they allow the use of Canon reliably again.. If it ain't broke.................
I have read some folks Canon Lenses randomly still worked on 1.06 but my 24 70 II and 70 200 f4 IS did not.
I only have the Sigma 50 Art and have no plans for any other Art lenses so I hope I am good for a while.
Way bigger problems in the world ,
Not gonna worry about it. Found a fix, sticking to it, moving on
its not about them allowing use of canon or not.
It simply comes down to they don't care, its not what the product was designed or marketed for, they don't even verify if it works, because it doesn't matter.
This image of the Sigma MC-11 means to tell you something. If your Canon lens or lenses work with that mount converter as Sigma calls it, then you should consider yourself lucky but really you cannot take that for granted, I would say. Sorry, for the iPhone image...

Not granted but unofficially supported.
What is "unofficially supported"? Could you give us more info on that, like a link to Sigma site or some kind of information that substantiates your point, please?
BTW, being lucky I mentioned above in my previous post has more to do with the fact that the AF system/algorithms of those Canon lenses happen to (closely) match those of Sigma lenses in their Global Imaging line and as such compatible with the MC-11.
