Hiking through a lush montane forest with my Loxia 21, 35, 50 and 85 lenses.
Beautiful images. These show the Loxia lenses off in the way they deserve to be seen. Lush, smooth, and gorgeous. I feel like I was there and that it was a magical world.
And they are a great size for the A7CR.
How would you describe the special rendering of Loxia lenses? You obviously know them very well.

Thank you for the kind words Chiron! I think you said it best - lush, smooth, and gorgeous rendering. I might add that there is a certain crispness to the images maybe some would label as micro contrast. Also the color that is captured is very saturated and reminds me of Fuji Velvia slide film. I also find the bokeh to have a nice smoothness to it and they produce some of the nicest sun stars out of any lenses I've used. There is definitely a secret sauce to the way the lenses render and I really like it. And as you said, they are a great matchup with the A7RC. They are my favorite lenses I own by far and I really appreciate the quality and haptics. I get a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment from using them - makes me feel like I'm doing deliberate photography if that makes sense.
Here are a few more recent ones from a hike around a dormant volcano caldera and burn area I captured during golden hour and sunset.

Sold my Loxia 35 over a year ago thinking I didn't need it anymore since I mainly use a faster 35, but have been regretting it ever since. Finally found a good, cheap second copy and I won't make that mistake again, no other 35 renders with the punch this little lens does.
Loxia lens series produce the most lovely and beautiful rendering lens set from
21, 25, 35, 50 to 85mm. among all my collections. Technical date shows poor
MTF and rate of the 35mm lens, but it is best color and sharp at F5.6 or F8 lens.
Data is data, and Loxia series is gem in Sony system. I sold out all Batis series.

I never understood why they didn't do a 1.4 version of this lens. I'd personally be willing to give up the AF of the GM for such a lens.
