The Loxia 85 was something I always wanted to try, but never bought in the past. I recently restarted taking pictures and made sure it was one of the first things I bought. I have certainly not been disappointed.
These next three were taken all a month or so apart. There is a particular intersection in Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul that has this very quaint and charming street of very old homes, with Namsan tower in the distance. With air quality varying widely in Korea these days, there always seems to be some compromise in the shot, haven't gotten everything to come together in perfection yet. I think I prefer #1 still, the fall colors were fantastic...however in autumn it is crazy busy here so I had to use a 10-Stop ND to blur out the oppressive crowds of tourists on the street, which in turn decreased the sharpness of the leaves and the haze that day smeared some of the fine detail in the tower.
I like the framing on this one for the buildings in the distance, there is more clean separation, but had to move up the street to get it so I lost the beautiful wooden door on the right from the first.
