Is anyone shooting this lens with a DX camera like the D500 by chance?
I'm getting back into photography after a few years off, my favorite focal length is 35mm, but i've decided to go into the D500 and am thinking of this as a good walk around lens on DX.
I used to love the Zeiss 35mm F2 on FX, this seems like the closest and fastest substitute on a DX format.
Did you get it for the D500? If yes how is it on the D500? Got my D500 and I'm thinking of getting the 24 1.8 as well.

Crappy corners and more CA than I care for...try the 28 f1.8G
Excellent on FX (not the facial distortion in tight) and a dream
on DX. Equates to a 42mm FOV and that's not far off 35.

Wonder if the 20 1.8g would be better then. I shoot weddings and the 42mm FOV would be too tight for me.
Can't decide between the 24mm and 20mm 1.8G.. I owned the 20mm 1.8G and it was fantastic but DXO and others rate the 24mm one of the sharpest lenses out there. Decisions decisions

I have the AF-S 20mm f1.8 and plan on getting the AF-S 24mm f1.8 as well.
Not before I get a Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro though.
