very nice images guys..... this lens is definitely a consideration for my future prime kit. I am currently using the 35mm as my WA prime
Thank you
I think this is a worthy member of the modern lineup of Nikkor f/1.8 primes.

Darrin, I really like these landscape photos - are you having to do any distortion correction or are you using a lens profile?
Thank you.
No distortion correction on any of these photos, and no lens profile applied either - I use Nikon Capture NX-D to convert from NEF, which hasn't been updated yet with a profile for this lens.
The lens profile might be useful, but I won't know until they provide one
If you can't go to Iceland, wait 'till Iceland comes to you...
(just kidding, I know it's not even close )
Two photos from the exhibit "Primordial Landscapes: Iceland Revealed" by photographer Feodor Pitcairn and poet Ari Trausti Guðmundsson at Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History in Washington DC (D810):
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC is the largest Roman Catholic church in the United States and North America, and is one of the ten largest churches in the world.
Curious if I should sell the 20mm 1.8G and pick up the 24mm 1.8G.. I am liking that DXOMark rated it an additional 5mp sharper than the 20mm 1.8G.. Thoughts?

I've never used anything wider than 24mm. People who do say that the difference in "look" between the 20mm and the 24mm is bigger than what 4mm would make you believe. This difference might be more important to you than the differences listed by DXO. Try the 24mm if you can before buying it, to make sure that 24 mm works for you.

Ok, I'll look into renting it and checking out the difference
Nice!! I ended up not getting this lens, and got ZF 25/2.8 due to my kit building. However images of 24/1.8 look great due to, of course by the skill of the photographer, but also the lens seem quite good. I wonder why not many others are around shooting and posting with this lens. I may end up with a 35/1.8g at some point. I have too much overlap at 24 range...
