The Sable with it's majestic swept back horns are my favourite African antelope, here one morning in the Moremi Game Reserve, I was fortunate to capture a small herd crossing a stream, hitching a ride are the ever present Red-billed Ox-peckers.

A Chacma baboon mother & baby make a successful landing, these guys aren't too fond of water, but here in the Okavango, water is part & parcel of life.

Although this was a small/narrow stream, the possibility of crocs lurking can't be ruled out, hence why most treat water with a healthy respect by leaping across.
