nice!!! I really like what I see, this might as well become my very first native FE also (aside from kit zoom) now that Ive decided to keep A7ii, for the most part.
That said, what do ya'll think of the kit? Should I just dump it on ebay or something or do you think it will find some use here and there? I know it totally depends but just asking your very own experiences and opinions.

The kit lens isn't too bad. It's actually quite decent for the price. I keep mine around as a walk around lens for convenience when I can't easily use prime lenses.
Michael, I always enjoy seeing your shots on here-- it's like seeing a slice of home for this expat in Germany. I remember a few years ago seeing some shots of yours that were, if I remember correctly, from Amethyst Brook.
Tried this out at Samy's the other day, very well built lens! I only have experience with the early E mount builds (16mn f2.8) but this felt much better made. Size was good, the AF was reasonable on the a7r (accuracy a bit low indoors but that's the body fault I'm sure), and the images I did take looked nice given the context. I think this will be one of my next lenses for sure!

The 28mm looks like it's delivering!
Thanks. All of those photos were taken from the Northeast Kingdom of VT except for the 4th which was taken at chapel brook falls in Ashfield and the 5th which was taken at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley. The 28 f/2 is a fantastic little lens.
Bob, looking forward to your impressions of your new lens. I am still shooting your old OM21/3.5 on my A7. Thought about picking up the 28 if it cuts the mustard.
