p.3 #1 · Hypnotizing Paine Grande

Artur - I completely understand where you are coming from. I know what lengths you go to to get some of your shots so I never really feel you have "overcooked" your images or Photoshopped the beauty into them. I also understand the viewpoint of people like Nigel who wonder whether or not an image was heavily manipulated. I do find it sad though that the trend seems to be that people need to prove it to others by posting before shots and screen shots from LR. Pretty sad really. However, I do like it when people post before/after shots to help me understand the steps taken in getting the final image. I personally prefer a more natural look in landscape images but I also like more dramatic processing at times. This is likely a topic that people will never agree on. I guess I am different in the fact that it wouldn't bother me one bit to know that you pumped up the image a lot in LR or PS. As long as it meets your creative vision, all is good.

Thanks Gary. I'm on the same side as you when it comes to interpreting art. To me it is all good. Manipulated photos, natural photos I will find something to like ( and not to like) in any of these categories. The beauty of art is that everyone can find something to enjoy. My style is representation of my own feelings and vision of the landscape that I explore.
I posted the Lightroom screen shot not to prove anything but to show people that great light and spectacular condition do happen in the nature.

NIce shot. The tones and how you made the mountain look majestic works for me.
