I can only add my thoughts to what has already been stated. This is a beautiful, very well composed image, you efforts after your official photo adventure were certainly well worth your time. Very well done.
Thanks for your comments! Some technical aspects that I was asked about: I shoot this photo with Nikon D810, 28mm ISO 64, f/11, 0.4sec
3 shots for DOF and one additional shot to include more sky in the final composition. All blended by hand.
Looks like I totally missed your post Artur. A belated Well Done!. A mesmerizing image to say the least. Just an outstanding comnposition and a well featured thread.
Again congrats!
Dan
A well crafted image all around, Artur. The colors and rich and vibrant, yet seem realistic. The glow on the mountain is particularly notable and special. Love the two bushes off to the right to provide some texture, and I especially love the way the bush in the lower right is picking up some of the beautiful glow as well. The reflection is of course very nice as well. Well done.
Is this an actual photograph of what was presented to you as you saw it, or one of those that has been fiddled to death with to provide a high score?
Hi Nigel,
I know where your comment comes from because there is a growing trend among photographers where Photoshop skills are more important than photographic skills. I don't belong to this group. I spent enough time outdoors, in the mountains to be able to capture some incredible moments like this one. IMO there is enough beauty in the nature and it doesn't need to be artificially created or enhanced. For you and for others who are wondering I am attaching Lightroom screen shot of at the raw file that I used for the sky. The majority of adjustments that I made to the sky are visible on the right. Overall this photo received very little post processing and closely represents what I saw when taking this shot.

Does it matter?
Gary as you see it does matter. It all depends on personal preferences and interpretation of what landscape photography really is. At the moment the definition is pretty vague.
