How does the 300 f4 pf work with the TC1.4 ver II as far as speed and IQ? I have the Nikon 200-500 which I usually use at 400-500 and thinking of the 300 for a lighter setup.

An almost mature bald eagle, seen from my kayak in Skagit Bay a couple days ago. This image was taken with the D500, the 300mm PF, and the latest Nikon 1.4x TC.
