I'm still going through my photos from today and the high hit rate is was really sticks out.
Here's another shot wide open and a crop of the same shot. I apologize in advance if the colors are off because I'm not editing with my normal system. I'm on a small laptop with an uncalibrated monitor.
haha, I am in a hard spot here!! I have the 200 f2 with the 3 tc!! They woudn't be much point for me to buy this lense other then weight saving!!
If I go bigger then 200mm it would need to be 400mm at least!!! The 400mm is the only telephoto over 300mm that takes all the 3 tc well, making it really versatile!!!

I can't see how anyone could want more from a lens than what is represented here with this shot.
Are there any landscape pics at infinity?
What about flare resistance?
Any comments about the bokeh?
What about the IQ wide open?
Center sharpess vs corners at given apertures?
Sweet spot of the lens?
Color rendition in comparison with other Nikon tele lenses?
