Keep all the great images coming. This thread is epic as always.
I barely shot anything in Q3. This shot is from July as the parents of the three eaglets watched from afar as the eaglets practiced flying at the nest.
Here's one of my favorites from Q3. Algonquin Provincial Park's "Three-legged Lucy" savoring one of the season's last blueberries on a September afternoon

My 4th quarter entry. Brazil, giant anteater. I've been saving this one. Incredible animals.
You can approach these on foot.....sometimes.
Sorry for the early post, but my computer needs some upgrades and I don't know when I might post again. But I'll certainly be checking out the images.
Happy Holidays to everyone. I look forward to seeing more great posts on this site.

Here is my 4th Quarter pick taken on December 6, 2014. Possibly the last sunny day that we will see in Minnesota this December. I went out in the morning that day and this Snowy Owl landed right in line with the Becker Power Plant (Sherco) Chimneys with white and black smoke. On the left of the photo is the steam rising as well.
Such a joy to view all these shots. Also lots of fun to go back and see what I shot during the year. I have learned mine was a year of hummingbirds, butterflies and small critters
My 3rd quarter shot from July. I like this one partly because of the camouflaged crab spider that I didn't even see until I started processing the shot.
