End of the Summer ---- Hummingbirds! (25)
Hi PhotoFriends,
My last sighting of a hummingbird was yesterday. Haven’t seen one today.
It seems they stuck around longer than last year.
It was such a joy being able to photograph them for around 2 ˝ months.
I have shared many photos with you already but there are still gobs more that I haven’t shared with you yet. I was so happy I got more keepers than I would of imagined for this season
Let me check out the photos from this summer that I haven’t shared with you all and reminisce on the awesome time I had photographing them!
Here I will think back on the days I was so lucky to capture theses poses:

I loved when Ruby would show his backside as well as his eye. His green feathers just glisten!

This is one of the last flowers I bought for Ruby.
A lot of you at N&W mentioned that your hummers enjoy this flower.
I had them in the past but didn’t notice hummers enjoying them.
So I figured why not try them again. They still did not like them.
I kept that I could at least get one capture of Ruby sipping and I did
Flower is called: Agastache - Anise Hyssop ‘Blue Fortune’.

This photo marks the end of Hummer Season.
This is my last photo that I photograph of my Ruby-Throat this summer.
It surely tells a story! You can see Rubies beloved Cardinal Flower coming to an end too as I say good-bye to my sweet little hummer!
I can’t wait for next Summer – Till we meet again Ruby
All and all you can see that I had an awesome blast – so much more than I can express to you all!

Hard to believe after finishing up this post I still have gobs more hummer photos to still share with you all. Maybe I will introduce Ruby to the Bald Eagles this year

Mizz Bee Balm, your photos are an inspiration for me to really go all out next year to photograph these little critters. Luv em all. Tanx. BTW a bunch of mine left yesterday. Have bout 15 left. Course I'm on gulf coast in hooterville texas. Little warmer.

Quite a nice collection BB. Too many good ones to comment on. Thanks for a summer filled with superb hummer images and stories. However, given the time you've spent with them, I'm sure you have a large archive of images ready to be doled out over the winter months.

I guess I will be going into hummer withdrawal as these beautiful creatures head to warmer climates and your immediate capture and post subsides a bit.
Hopefully your inventory is vast and you will keep us salivating thru the upcoming fall,winter,early spring months!
