Ron, there are indeed half stop aperture clicks but only the full stops are marked on the aperture ring.
Sorry, Bob is correct it does have 1/2 stops. The only thing I can think is that it's been very cold in the mornings and I've been using double gloves .... and apparently not paying attention

Bob, excellent shots! I'm gonna get it once the lens is available in where I live. Anyways, how would you compare 15 v3 with Zeiss 21 Distagon? do they have similar sharpness and micro contrast.. thanks

I would compare it more closely to the Zeiss Distagon 15/2.8. The Voigt doesn't have the mustache distortion that is known on the Distagon 21. As for micro contrast, it has more of a Voigtlander look, which I like, but with even more color pop than the zeiss.

I ordered mines through B&H since you can do the 6mon no interested through paypal credit/billmelater ... gives me some time to sell some lens to pay for it

I ordered from CameraQuest. Great turnaround and they include a high quality filter to protect the lens. Highly recommended.
Same here, included the free B+W nano clear filter, and International FREE USPS Expedited Express shipping.
I tried to order locally(The Camera Store) but they didn't have it in there system, same with their distributor.
I already have a tracking #, the only thing that sucked was the exchange rate.

Thanks, exchange rate is a huge hit now. Wonder what it will price out in Canada.

^ that was my impression looking at online samples taken with an A7r. Neither lens seems to make great use of the A7r 36MP resolution. The Beast (Samyang 14/2.8) is staying.
Summary: improved over the earlier ones, not very contrasty, not super sharp but acceptable. FE 16-35 Zoom sharper and contrastier. (But bigger.)
Hard to tell much from that "review". So easy to shoot serious samples which will show the lens performance at the edges and corners, but I saw none there, and they only shot jpegs.
Still, one would expect the 1635 to be perhaps better on the A72. Bob and McBroomf sure make the v3 look nice though.
Most interesting will be performance on M9 (how is color shift? is there a good code?), and A7 mods. Looks like Martin has one....
He must have been shooting near WO as edges suffer a bit more than Bob's seem to.

Thanks. I did have to straighten and correct for verticals (I have problems doing perfect composition in the complete dark in a place I probably shouldn't be in but the original corners still look good.
