Love all those shots in the last 3 posts you made Luke! I love Oregon and looks like you hits some of our favourites on your trip! Great shots. Wha lens was used in the second photo here for Bruce?
Hoping to make it back this fall for another few weeks on the coast!
Thank you! We got really amazing (t-shirt) weather which is pretty uncommon for the coast in March.
All but 1st one are 28 1.4e (which is quickly becoming my 'go to' prime). 1st one - Tamron 70-200 G2.
We have been in colder weather haha... she doesn't care anyway, she loves the snow and even loves going into blizzards. It is only when it's windy and raining that she wants to stay inside.

Being in the PNW - it's the other way around here - mainly +6-8C in Vancouver during winter and LOTS of rain. Bruce is not very excited with all the rain - but luckily we can escape it and go snowshoeing in the mountains nearby.
Keep the shots coming. I need to go photograph in Iceland one day (but the puppy road trips are more of a priority now).

Haha... not the dream place for my Venus.
Shall keep em coming. If you go to Iceland then feel free to contact me to meet, we can share dog stories haha...
Here comes one of Venus (she is looking at airplane low in the sky ) taken today with my new Nikon 70-200 f4 which I finally took the plunge to buy haha...

Tek9, do you own Maric and Ava too?

Nope. Ava is friends' dog - 8 yrs old rescue, american bulldog/pitbull/whippet. She loves puppies, was coming over and playing with Bruce before he had his 2nd shots.
Maric is similar age as Ava, rescue from the north of Canada (Yellowknife). Another friend's dog we roadtripped and adventured together with before. She's a strange one - very independent, likely half cat in previous life.
Nice shot of Venus! I somehow wish I haven't sold my f4. switched to tamron g2... not sure it was a good decision. might switch to 2.8e... GAS.
Beautiful dogs tek9... Bruce seems so serious character on pictures haha...
Yes, I have been thinking about this buy for weeks... should I go f2.8 and more heavy or take f4 and instead lose some weight. My old f2.8 was a brick and I was using it mostly at f4 or higher. I don't deny it that 2.8e was and is very tempty and I will probably get it sometime haha...
Tamron would have been more of an option if I would be located closer to service station.
desertspics, my girl would agree that there's not much which comes even close of her ball. It is her favourite toy in the world.
However, we have been working on getting her to like frisbee too and that is going well. We need to practice the throws and catching it in the air more though.

Hope you like your 70-200 f/4. Looks like you are off to a good start. I have been very happy with mine, for dog photos and more.
Yes, it seems to be very sharp and fast. It was quite a torture test though yesterday because we had dark gray sky, so not much light to work with. Of course today it is raining like I don't know what so no photographing today.
