You are doing a wonderful thing lukemeup. I always get a kickout of seeing Bruce, I'm sure you folks will do great with Hannah!
Cheers! So far Bruce is not super impressed indoors with another dog in his space, so they're separated. No problem outdoors on walks. I'm sure we'll work it out.
Charity work for dog shelter/rescue with Z6 II, Z 35/1.8 and Z 85/1.8. At night I also used the Godox ML60Bi as main light and general illumination since it gets quite dark outside past 5pm these days.

Sorry to take the thread down but our hearts hurt tonights so I need to type. Our Triumphs Von Whirling Thunder passed yesterday evening. He would have been 9 next month. We were on one of our walks with our other GSD and everything was great. Suddenly he lost his balance and laid down. I could see in his eyes the end was close. He had been a little off for a few weeks so I had a liver and kidney plus blood work done last week and all was negative. I am sure he either threw a clot or experienced a rupture of a tumor. I called my wife to where we were so I could get the truck to take him to the emergency vet. He kept fighting but as soon as possible I asked the vet to help him pass on. I held him tight until he was gone and that is as good as I could do for a dog that I consider a perfect example of his breed. He was ever vigilant of his family. He was serious but forever sweet. He was never aggressive but always ready to protect with his life (I could explain). His greatest joy was to please us and that he did until the day we had to let him go.
This picture was one of the last. Straight out of camera because I can't PP through the tears :-)
Sorry to rant but we miss him tonight!

As the owner/mommy to four GSDs my heart hurts for you and this post brought tears to my eyes. God speed over the rainbow bridge to your beautiful fur baby. ~Tammy

Lizzy, the daughter of Lola.
Something I've never seen before in 50years experience with our family dogs.
Sometimes, Lizzy starts a BodyCheck completely out of nowhere.
Always from the side and always so that the other dog doesn't see it coming.
In this situation i wanted to shoot some portrait of Hollie, the Collie, so i haven't chosen a fast shutter speed, because i didn't expected any movement/action to speak of.

Her view at the end of the bodycheck says it all, "Who is the boss - I'm the boss!"
Hollie's reaction looks more like "Wtf was that?" LizzyWho'sTheBoss by Vento, auf Flickr
Photo of a visiting Irish Setter - whose owner became quite nervous when this big city dog (London) suddenly started gambolling about in the snow ever deeper into our local forest.
