Seeing this reminded me of a kid years ago at Chicago Botanical Gardens. Kid was bored out of his mind. NOT SHOT WITH D700. Dad was happy but paid no attention to the boy. To this day the unknown child still tugs my heartstrings.
I've learned to embrace the fact that watering the plants also means water sports.
I'm beginning to understand how to use the D700 AF and its modes. Certainly not as easy as Eye AF.
Got myself a D700 again last week. In the top 3 cameras that I have personally owned (Leica M3 and Nikon D3s in no order). Minty with just 3000+ shots on it. High ISO is nothing compared to the Z5 but still there is something about it that I love. All taken with a 300 AFS f4D.
Been playing in the snow the past few days, took out the D700 mostly. Here are a couple shots. Gotta say my D700 had some issues after a couple hours shooting in 12 degree temps. At first when I got the ERR on the top screen I thought from how the shutter sounded it was going out (there are only 6431 shots on this camera btw), but once I got home and acclimated the camera to warmer weather it worked without a hiccup for the rest of the day.
