Having my D700 converted to IR, I just bought a lightly used D3 35,000 shutters. Looking forward to my first Pro Nikon. My last D700 shots.

Great shots. But D700 is/was a Nikon Pro body according to Nikon Professional Service because my D700 qualified me for my NPS application back in 2009.

Oh for sure mshi on the 700. I wanted to buy the D3 when it came out, but didn't want to be camera poor (no glass) I've never looked back on the D700 purchase. I know the D3 will be a lateral move for the most part.

Yeah, grandma was video taping while our son-in-law did some laps.
I was laying on the lawn gettin' my shots. Cheap thrills all around.

Well I was fortunate enough to take my newly acquired D3 out, thanks to mother nature. One of the motocross tracks opened this past Sunday, and I must say I love this camera

12mp is absolutely plenty for me. Perfect file size in raw. Instant response compared to my beloved D700. I would not hesitate to recommend this camera to anyone on a budget. Thank you for checking these out.
