This shot is the type i want to see from there that makes me planning to visit/come over there sooner or later i hope, i am having a plan to come there on September so i hope the weather will help at least.
So, how did you access t this location from any city nearby let's say Portland? Did you hike long to get to that view? how long did you walk to get around there and find this spot?
I want to know how easy or difficult to be around mountains there to get a high view, also are there some toilets or small shops to buy water/snacks if possible neat of those mountains or NPs?

This spot took me literally 5 minutes from the parking lot. There are port-a-potties (honey buckets) in the parking lot, and perhaps in the observatory.
From Portland, it is maybe 1.5 hours to get here. I did have to scout this spot. Be forewarned that the soil is super sensitive and off trail hiking comes with a minimum fine of $100, as per the signs. The observatory road should be open until mid October, but wildflowers will be nothing but a distant memory. Still a superb area nonetheless.
