The Elmarit-R 180/2.8 vII went to the zoo with me yesterday. I've been going back and forth on upgrading to the APO, which would mean breaking my "no single lens over $2500" rule, so this is either the lens' last hoorah with me or reason to keep it and be happy. I still can't decide.

Sorry in advance about the overshare, but Mandler teles are underrepresented in this thread. That's the excuse I'm going with.

Lovely Derek. The rendering of this lens for portraits is very close to perfect, IMO, but of course you make it shine.
