However, the feature does not seem to quite work. When a match appears I get a PM, but that PM is vieweable only by visiting fredmiranda.com. With other PMs I get an email notification of a new PM, but not with B&S matches. In addition, despite checking the "Notify with SMS" box, I never receive any notifications.
Fred has never responded to any requests for technical support that I have sent (I have two orphaned quote notifications that have been there for 3 years, and I can't get rid of), and I don't expect this to change in this case. His website is one of the few places where I hang out, but it sure would be nice if there was some type of response when subscribing members need a bit of help. This is precisely the reason why I do not maintain a continuous subscription - it seems that other than access to B&S a subscription gives you nothing else, so I buy one just when I have something to sell....Show more →
Hey, thanks for the feedback and for sticking around on the site. Just to clarify, Watchlist notifications only work through PMs. I had considered adding email notifications at one point, but decided against it because the site's outgoing emails would likely get flagged as spam by mail servers due to the high volume. The feature has always worked this way since it was first added.
I PM’d Fred in this last night but figured I’d ask here as well.
When I go to my profile, add an item to the wish list, and then try to save, I get an error message telling me that my email is already in use by another user.
Maybe I am missing this, I wanted to set up an alert to for some items i am looking to buy. But when I follow the link I don't see where to add the keywords.

Go to your profile, (person icon top right of page) and then click 'edit your details' at top left. At the bottom there are three fields for watchlist items.
Is it possible to receive an email alert with the title of every new thread in one of the (two) marketplace forums here? Manually checking via a browser gets tiring after a while.
